My Daughter will not fall asleep in her own bed, My husband and i have to put her to sleep in our bed first, then we have to move her after she has fallen asleep, And she always wakes up in the middle of the night wanting back into our bed! What do i do?

Sheena is right. It took me a month of transition, but my DD finall slept in her bed. I layed with her for a while, then just held her, then sat on her bed, then beside her bed then at the door. It was worth it! Just stick with and help her! She'll backslide, but never give in!

i had the same problem with my 22 month old son. but be persistant with her, mention that it's her big girl bed. try putting her to bed in it this way its not so strange when she wakes up in a different place than she went to bed. make it familiar to her, maybe with her fav toy or special blanket. kids are more likely to be comfortable with something if the have something that comforts them with them in bed. keep at it eventually she learn that she is not going to get her way. good luck.

I've had the same problem with my daughter ever since she grew out of the cradle. We were worried because of a family history of SIDS, so every time she woke up we just brought her into our bed. After a while of that she just wouldn't go down in any other bed. She's going on 20 months now and we have her big girl bed set up in her big girl room but she wont do anything but play in there. Our bed is where she wants to be, we've been trying lying next to her bed with her at night but she just crawls down and lays on us or tries to go out into our room. I suggested maybe one night we just try putting her in the bed and kinda letting her cry it out a bit but my husband is totally against it. I'm running out of options!
