how do i get my daughter to stop back talking(shes 2yr old)

if and when ur lil one back chats..u turn to them and get down to their level...hold them firmly by the hand and tell them to look at u in the eye, only then do u tell them not to say no or back chat..then tell them "mummy will not speak to u until u say sorry"..get up, turn around and walk away...dont say a word to them until they apologise..after they do that then u coem back to the issue/problem and deal with it once want attention..but not the silent treatment..see if that works for my lil b4 i even get a chance to get up and turn my back on him....

This is a tough one. I have a 4 and 2 year old and always take talk-back very seriously. They get "the look" and then the rundown. I ask "Are you the boss? No, Mommy and Daddy are the boss, you don't talk like that to us." If a stern talking to doesn't get a reaction then I do a time-out. The adult has to respond everytime or it's not as effective.
