My two year old doesn't speak yet, he just started to hear after another set of tubes. How do I get him potty trained?

Potty treats. I keep a special basket with small treats in it when Skyler goes potty. She gets excited when I let her pick out which one she wants by herself. Put pull ups on him and make a big deal about "big boy pants." I let Skyler carry the bag up to the register and this excited her. It took a little while for her to actually let us know that she had to go potty. Most pullups come with stars or something on the bottom that fade if the child peepee's. When Skyler noticed that her dragons were fading she started going potty so they wouldn't go away, Encourage him to show you some signs that he has to go. Such as patting on his pull up and pointing. Hope this helps.

do you use sign language with him? We used it with both my boys even though they could hear just fine. Learn the signs for potty and all done. Put him on the potty about every hour and reward him if he goes. Once you learn the signs the same rules would apply as potty training with words.

all i can say to be patient.

show him the potty. every time he needs to go. make him sit on the potty at once every hour.

this helped my son even though i do understand ur situation is a little harder.

in do time time he will understand. some kids it takes a little longer.

or u could always let him run around the house no under pants on.
