My 12 month old baby does not want to eat solids. She is almost exclusively breastfeeding. She will take a bite or two sometimes, but mostly she turns her head away or keeps her mouth closed. She won't take sippy cup, bottle, or pacifier. Just breasted. What do I do? She is a happy baby, but quite small. She is healthy and full of life!

not sure how you have got so far and still have a healthy baby. you must eat really well, let her see you and other children eating good food. your next step should be to drop a breastfed, time them and make sure that you offer food first whenever she is hungry. most one year olds have 3 - 5 milk feeds in a 24hr period if she is having more than this she will not be hungry. if you are doing more than one night feed, those are the first ones you should drop. then when she wakes in the morning offer her what you are having for breakfast. good luck and look for more info online. take care and make it fun.

As long as she's healthy, that's all that matters. Breastmilk supplies wonderful nutrition. Try making food time fun, messy, but fun. Start with mushy finger foods instead of jar foods, put a spoon in his/her hand. See how impressed he/she is when they get to do it themselves
