How do I ween my 22 month old off of the pacifiers?

My son was 29 months.....I finally decided it needed to go. I just made it disapear. But it had to completly be out of the house. When he was crying so hard for it...I would have caved. It only took 2 days. It is worth is sure nice to have pics of him without the sucky.

i always rewarded my kids when they would leave it at home when we went to a fiends or families. I always got them involved when they would throw one away. i also had a dog chew one up and told them it was the doggies now and that the were big boys and didn't need them. Good luck with this cause i thought my oldest child would go to college with his.
