Hello everyone, I am the mom of 2 beautiful girls. My oldest began potty training when she started walking (her choice.) My youngest refused all efforts and would just pee pee wherever she was couldnt care less and would even try to diaper herself if i put underwear on. BEST ADVICE I EVER GOT...leave her alone, put the diaper on and let her be...I finally had it when she turned 3 and said "now we pee pee in the potty like your sister" and she did, she never looked back. Then I tackled night training...took one night and it was done. Only 2 accidents to date. Not bad. Moral of the story, some train between 2 and 3 but what is the rush, at 3 they all magically become ready because that is when they truly are physically ready. Truth be told diapers are easier when you are at the mall or visiting friends, less "accidents." My pediatrician said, nobody goes off to college in a diaper....no matter what you do they go when they are ready and every child is different. Good Luck

I'm not even attempting yet until Paige stays drier for longer periods. If she doesn't take to your efforts try not to fret because she's still young. We did lots of praises with our 3 yo, stickers and a potty chart and lollipops. Good luck!

My daughter will be 2 in December and only once has she gone on the potty. It's rough but you should take her everytime and what I do is I sit with her and tell her ok pee pee come out say pee pee come out and it does work only she misses cause she gets off the potty and at that second she pees. We are getting closer though....good luck

I just let her sit on her potty whenever she wanted with no pressure to go. She did that for a few months and then one day she finally did it. She did pretty well for a few months and then I went back to work and now she only goes at preschool on the potty! She's almost 3. When she's ready she will go! No stress! Good luck!

My daughter wasn't potty trained till a month before she was 3. She is still 3 and has had no accidents since! What I did was made a bigggg deal about what a big girl she was when she went potty. I told her if she peed on the potty just once we would go to the store and I would let her pick out her own underwear. She finally peed after putting her on the potty ever half hour and running water in the sink. After she did that we went to the store and she picked out Tinkerbell underwear. She's been great ever since. Good luck!

Most kids like to copy thier parents or siblings, if you sit with him and told hiim what to do he will just copy you. The fist couple days he might not actually do anything but eventually he will get used to it, most kids are shy to do it or feel weired that it's coming out and they can see it but he/she will get used to it.

try using insentives such as if she goes potty give her a special treat.dont make them sit their for hours that will not work...go with her like if you have a potty chair in the bath room when you go put her on the potty ...that was she sees you doing in n she will want to do it..

Maybe have what we call a Pee party. Take her to the bathroom with you and use the potty while she sits on hers... It helped my daughter get into a routine of using the potty throughout the day... I hope that helps! Good luck!

Try making it a game. I just started potty training, my daughter will be 2 on December 4th, we have races to see who can get to and use the potty first, who ever wins gets a chip/cookie/candy something of that nature. She loves it and of course I always let her win, when she is a little resiliant to go on the potty then I "win" and I pretend like I'm going to get the reward for going so then she will go to the potty and use it just to get her prize.
