How do you get your child to eat fruit and vegetables?

My daughter is 2 and a half and I can only get her to eat apples and olives. Have tried disguising veggies in pancakes and muffins - she just doesn't seem interested!

My girls are pretty good about fruits and veggies. You can try smoothies. I blend a banana, some frozen fruit, and milk together. They love them! Especially in a clear glass with a straw so they can see the color. For veggies I will sometimes shred zucchini into my pasta sauce and cook it for several hours. Or I make some turkey meatballs with spinach in them. They love meatballs and don't notice the spinach. I think the main thing is to make sure you are eating them too and just keep offering them to her. She may get curious!

i haven't figured it out yet either, but i give my kids v8 splash, and they get the veggies and fruit from that. good luck!

if she eats pasta you can puree just about any veggie right in to the sauce or make meatballs and add it in. I would just keep introducing them to her daily. my son will eat watermelon, pears, broccoli, green beans, peas and edomome beans...that is it. Since the summer is coming we went to the nursery and bought tomato plants and a few others as well. he has been tending to his garden and the little tomatoes are starting to grow. He is so excited I'm hoping that he will want to pick and eat....we shall see. Good luck!

Oh yeah. we have funny names for broccoli trees, green bean legs (I put a meatball on a plate and add two green beans for legs), etc.
