I sat my son on the big toilet when he was 1yrs 11mths and straight away pooped and weed and after that wet his undies once, now 3and 1 month and and does not have nappies at all, sleeps thru the night and if needed wakes me to go to toilet. I think I stressed more about it then him, one day he decided it was time to go.

Well, I started potty training my son at around the age of 2. I would take him to the potty at least every 15-30 minutes. Now, I had a bit of trouble with him wanted to pee in the potty but not poop in the potty, then he would switch. Taking him to the lake actually cured that. B/C we were camping, the guys would pee in the woods LOL and he thought that was just the coolest thing LOL that actually got him on track. He and daddy would go together which helped. Now, I only had experienced potty training a girl for a wknd.. I took her every 15-30 minutes and she never did her business the whole entire wknd she stayed with me. Of course, I don't believe she was potty trained but taking her that often prevented it from happening in her pull-up and after a while, she would probably get used to it. I hear running water helps! Try this and see if it works. Good luck!

I put little cherrios in the toilet and he's goes right on them. It works pretty good. He likes to "shoot" them so that makes him want to use the bathroom instead of his pants.

i took the diapers away i only used them for night or naps she just turned 4 and was 3 1/2 when i started, she peeped in her pants for about 2 days and the third day she came up to me and said mommy i want to go potty, I was like what okay let's go, and from that point on she has been going. Don't get me wrong she did go in her under wear for those 2 days and she still has her moments from time to time i just put a pee pads under like those pads they use on the beds at the hospital pink/blue anyways. to help her out we took her out and let her pick out her potty and under wear. i hope that helps you and good luck!!
