My daugher weighed just under 9kg at 18 months, but she was premature so she's small. At 3 years she now weighs just under 12kg. Their weight gain is smaller once they start walking so I wouldn't think its anything to worry about. A lot would depend on what weight she was when she was born and how tall she is. As long as she's eating well and is healthy you should be fine.

According to my chart (which is for UK so not sure if it applies to USA or elsewhere) a child weighing 10.10kg at 18 months is on the 50th centile, which is deemed average.

My kids have all been on the smaller size about 10kg (22lbs) at 18 months. Now my 2.5 yo weighs 11.8kg (26lbs). My 4yo weighs 15kg (33lbs). They really slow down on their growth after the first year. They will get growth spurts from time to time.

hi my son was 12kgs at 12months and he is now 19months and and hasn't put much on as he is only 13.2kgs now... my midwife told me for a toddler to being around and burning all the energy it all ok as long as they are eating healthy and are happy then they are ok...
