how should i deal with tantrums? 3 and 2 year old.

i agree the only way to stop a tantrum is to ignore it if you acknowledge them they will keep it up cause they get your attention good or bad so just walk away and they will eventually stop because they will learn they get no response for it and when they are done they will come to you and then you can ask them what they wanted and they should tell you and this will show them how to handle things in a calm manner and not have to throw a fit.. hope that helps i have a 1,2, 3 and 6 yr old and they all went through the phase of fits it is there way of testing there limits you just have to stand your ground and let them know that is not going to be tolerated.. good luck..

Best way is to let the children kno that u will not listen to what they have to say unless they stop tantrumin..or ignore this behaviour they will sdoon kno that they wont get attention by throwing one...worked well for my 2 yr old daughter..n hope this will help when my son becomes of age..good luck
