how to develop interest in playshool for my 2 and a half year old daughter

My daughter is 2years and 9 months and has been going to playshool since the past 10 months....1st 6 months with me but now she needs to go alone into the class since 2 months.Every night its a torture to put her to sleep at night, however sleepy she might be....saying that she doesnt want to go to school in the morning.Half the time she ends up sleeping very late and catches up on only 7 hours of sleep. Then tells the teacher in class that she is sleepy. This has become a pattern. How do i break this pattern. It has become a task for me to keep her in the room to put her to sleep.Any advise is appreciated.

If there is no problem at pre school then you need to look at your bedtime routine. Stick rigidly to wind down time, bath, story and bed at the same time every day. It does not matter if she is not sleepy when she goes to bed as long as she is relaxed she will settle quicker. If there is anything in her room that is visually stimulating then remove it. Once you have said goodnight do not go back up again. Allow her to self sooth if she comes out of her room place her back into bed. It will take about three days to establish a good sleeping pattern but if you can hack the three days of constant putting back to bed and listening to the moans then you will reap the rewards. I would of thought that the excuse of not wanting to go to play group is an excuse for not going to bed but just keep an eye on this and ask at playgroup if there is a problem.
