Ok so my son used to sleep in his own bed all night through, he would wake up and just play in there till we came and got him. We recently moved into a new appartment. It is a basement so the we can hear the people upstairs moving around, and they get up early!!! It wakes him up around 4-5 am. That was not a huge deal untill my husband started bringing him into our bed EVERY NIGHT. And now he has started to wake up at 2am and thinks he should be able to sleep with us!!... I was just wondering if anyone has any good ideas on how to get him to sleep in his OWN bed. I have tryed to just leave him in there and cry it out but the people that live upstairs get upset with us when we do that. So i'm really at a loss of what to do???...!

I have the same problem with my almost 3 year old, but now we have a 4 month old to and they are suppose to share a room. We just bought a twin size bed and put it in our bedroom. she is still in there with us but isnt in our bed. it works for us, and that way her little sister doesnt wake her up at night and everyone gets sleep. Just do what is best for your family..

my little girl allways slept in our bed but she got too big and we were not getting any sleep, so we bought her a new bed and duvet set and made a really big thing of it and put a new rug in her room and she went in it from day one and has never come back into our bed, maybe we was just really lucky with her but maybe you could try something like that a new duvet or something, Good luck hope something works and you get a good nights sleep

Im having this same problem. my daughter wouldn't sleep in her crib. everytime you would go to lay her down, she'd wake up immediately. so i just started to put her in a twin sized bed that way theres enough room to lay back down if they wake up again. It worked with me!
