well he is only three, and they tend to not realize that they have to go when they are sleeping....so you could try the undies at night for a while and see if it makes him more aware.....try it for at least a couple weeks and make sure you have a couple sets of sheets for his bed so you don't have to wash them everyday.....if that doesn't work wait a while and then try again.....they should be generally not wetting the bed by the time they are 4 1/2 if they have been potty trained otherwise during the day....but sometimes they continue....you can always ask your pediatrician they usually have some useful information or ideas....Good Luck!

you know i have the same problem with my 3,almost 4 year old, she does good during the day.......but at night, shell pee all over....i tried putting her in chonies for a week....she peed the bed every night- i was changeing sheets every day for over a week!!!!!......i put her in a diaper now at bedtime,so maybe shell feel yucky and want to wear her chonies at night, nope doesnt bother her! there were a few times i put her to bed in chonies and i took her potty before she went to bed, then i got up about midnight and took her again, then maybe again at like 3 or 4 am, then have her go right when she gets up......and shed do ok most of the time but........then it would go bad....i dont know if thins is helping, but just wanted to let you know youre not alone!!!!.......

My sister was having the same problem, and she had to finally bite the bullet and take the pull ups off and switch to big kid undies. She would wake him up before she went to bed to take him to the potty and found he had no accidents. Now he gets up and goes buy himself. He figured out his full bladder by himself. The reason my sister removed the diaper was because she thought that maybe they were confusing him and it made her try harder to get him up for his night pee. I hope this helps some.
