Since he was born he slept in our bed. but he will be 3 next month and i think he is getting a little to big to be sleeping with mommy & daddy. I have an other son who will be 2 in January and he sleeps in his crib all by myself but i am scared he will get jealous and want to sleep in my bed too. I have tried everything , and there is no way he will sleep in his own bed in his own room. someone plzz help!!

I agree they do need to be a baby sometimes and need to snuggle. I guess I should have been a little more clear. What I meant was don't give up after one day a go back to having him sleep the night in bed with you. I love morning cuddles with my girls.

i agree with the previous post to an extent. make him stay in his bed, but set some limits. at three, he's realizing his independence and still needs to be a baby and snuggle sometimes. my son knows that he's not allowed to crawl back into our bed until the sun is shining in his room. that gives me and him about 30 minutes of snuggle time in the morning, but i also get a full night's sleep.

You might have to put up with a bit of crying. Do you two boys sleep in the same room? Where does he nap? If not this will make it easier. At night put him to bed in his bed and the first time he gets up pick him up put him back in bed give him a kiss and say it's bedtime(insert his name here), next time pick him up put him back say only it's bedtime and everytime after that just put him back in bed. It may take a few hours at first and involve some or a lot of crying. Just don't give in and let him back into your bed.
