Quoting Crystal:

I took the bottle away completely during the day and gave my son sippy cups. I let him have the bottle at night then took that and replaced it with a sippy cup at night... eventually i took that away too... i still have some trouble with him going to bed but what i do now is since he has 2 favorite stuffed puppies i tell him that he has to put them to sleep and he fights less to sleep

Same as Crystal except he just drinks out of a cup, at first it was with a straw, but now he just takes it out and drinks without it.

He never had a bottle in bed. It was always before he went to bed.

I did the same. A few weeks before he turned one I just took it away from him. He never asked for it again. He only uses sippy cups.
