if im at home and ely is having a tantrum i put him on the rug in his room. if he gets up and is still being bad i just keep putting him back on the rug. he stops after about 5 minutes and does something else. its ok to let them cry if they arent in pain or it isnt serious

Samantha, the best thing I was told to do is ignore the bad behavior. If she keeps following you around screaming, you can try to talk to her in a calm voice and tell her that if she wants to tell you something, all she has to do is tell you... or something like that.

my son is 2 and when he throws himself on the floor i will just leave him there and let him throw his fit. I ignore him. I do that to let him know its not bothering me and you're still not getting your way. So i ignore him when he does it. and he seems to get up and go about his business
