How to potty train my 3 1/2 yr old toddler during the nights?

Just line the mattress with a large garbage bag-if you don't have a mattress liner. If they are old enough to know they don't like the feeling, they are old enough to be potty trained-thats just my opinion.

Yeah...I wondered if we should just take the diapers away and just let him pee the bed.  It wont be comfortable for him bc there have been a couple times when I left it off and he had peed and did NOT like it.

Well, do you have a boy or girl? I suppose it doesn't really matter. For me, we have a boy, it was just a matter of waiting until he figured it all out. We tried the pull up/nightime diapers but MAN they are a waste of money. When they want to go, they will go. We just went without diapers-crossed our fingers-and it worked all out in the end. It just takes time...
