I am having trouble with my 20 month old going to sleep at night. I have tried nightlights, bedtime stories, warm milk... she is tired, but fights for hours to go to sleep. Any suggestions?

It seems when you were pre.... you never used to go bed early.   Don't worry you not the only one.  At 24months she will be sleeping the whole night.  Just feed her at 7:30pm then let her play until 8:15pm,then tell her you are going sleep.  Get with her in bed en pretend that u are sleeping too.  I did that and it worked for me.  See how it works, good luck.

You could try starting the bedtime routine earlier.  It takes my girl quite a while to wind down.  We usually go up to her room and quietly play a little, brush teeth, etc... for about 45 mins, then a few books ( sometime alot) then she slowly clams down it seems and is ready for bed ( i also dim the light while we do all this).

My son likes to relax with books, alittle of t.v. Try to keep the same routine too. My son seems to sleep better with a routine.
