Maybe with the new trend of stay-at-home-Daddies we can get a little more respect publicly. I have the wonderful job of staying at home with my little girl, but I have a part-time job on Saturdays. It's great to let Daddy watch her & realize how much you do. He hasn't complained about the dishes not being done since he started watching her one day a week! Saturdays are my 'day off' & 'payback day' all rolled up in one!

I TOTALLY understand!! I have two little boys, 19 months old and 7 months old (yes, a year apart!) and I totally agree! I am tired of hearing "you got to sleep in until 8:00am and I had to go to work" when in reality I was up every 30 mins to 1 1/2 hours all night long with the baby while he was snoring...and the list goes on! You are not alone in your adventure as a stay at home mom! You may not feel appreciated right now, but when your girls are older and are the best behaved little girls around...you will be able to know in your heart that you took care of them everyday and trained them in the best way you could and that is why they are such good girls! I hope your girls will be able to tell you how much they appreciated all your hard work!
