I desperately need suggestions for a two year old that has severe mommy withdrawals. P. S. I'm a stay-at-home mom.

My son is amazing. He behaves very well and listens very well. We are together almost 24/7. He is def attached to mommy and I don't know what to do to get him to go with others and play or whatever without me. He plays at home by himself for up to 30 min at a time. Please share if you have advice. :)

hi my son was the same i couldn't even leave the room with out a screaming match happening i ended up putting him in a family based daycare for a couple of hours 3 days a week. to begin with he would scream when i dropped him off but i ended up taking his breakfast there for him to have and that help to distract him well i left. His been in day care now for almost 9 months and the transformation has been amazing. I can walk out of the room with him screaming and he is playing with other kids and his is happy to be left with sitters and his confidence has grown as well. he is talking more and the sounds are starting to sound like words. This is what i did and it helped. If you don't want to try day care maybe playgroups or mother groups might help as well. good luck
