go for walks or a picnic in the park or yard. Maybe go for a drive to a store to look around. Good luck.

Do a mommy and me swim class. Or join a local mom's group. If you don't have one, start one.

Hey Deanna, it's Ashley "Hobby" from school. My lil boy just turned 1 on sunday, so we kinda have kids around the same age. He LOVES to be outside so we got him a wagon and we go to the park walk around, let him play on the playground and so forth. And notr only is outside a good place for them(with sunscreen of course), The walking is good for you. Anyway hope this helps..

there must be public parks or playgrounds you could take her to. See if your town or a neighboring town has a children's museum. Look at kindermusic websites and see if classes are offered in your area. Look in the paper and see if there are any playgroups with kids your age. You might be able to find out about playgroups through local day care facilities even if your child does not attend the day care. Good Luck!

oh one more thing. Don't be afraid to strike up a conversation with other moms with kids the same age. We met one of my son's best friends when we were out to eat!!
