We removed all pacifiers when my little man turned 1... but we had a life changing time to do it.  We went on vacation, and when we got back, I told him he was a big boy now that he got to go on an airplane and he didn't need it any more.

It was tough for two nights, and then he was totally fine.

With our oldest boy we kept throwing them out gradually. He would bite through one and then I would tell him it was broken and had to go in the garbage. He actually threw them out himself until there were none left. Then we just told him they were all gone. It worked for him. I'm not sure it will for our second, I haven't ried yet. Good Luck.

Well we "ACCIDENTALLY" dropped the paci. down a hole that we couldn't get it out of and my son saw it and we told him it was all gone and that it went bye bye's. But make sure all the rest of your Paci's are out of the house. Out of sight out of mind!!! But I really like the idea of cutting the nipples off to.
