I have a beautiful 4 year old daughter. I am having a really hard time. I know that this age is hard but it is out of control for me. She is ruining the house, pouring out soap, writing on walls....I could go on and on. The hardest part for me is that when she is disciplined, she does the same thing 5 min later. I am just really confused. My other children do not act like this so I am lost right now. Any tips?

Yeah, I agree with Sabra-- the form of discipline you're using on her is definitely not working for her, whereas it worked on the others. Children are evolving LOL (: Just wanted to throw that in there. But seriously, she's 4 so she knows better than to do all those things you've mentioned. Other things might be taking away priviledges (which could be a number of things), tv time, not being able to choose a book to read that night, earlier bedtime, not being able to participate in a planned fun activity, oh how the posibilities could be endless....

I know it sounds funny, but I often watch those shows on TV about training your dogs. It's funny that people who have the hardest time with their dogs often find it's because they aren't meeting a need in the dogs life... (like exercise or challenging them mentally)... and because their discipline isn't consistant...

SO NOT SAYING YOU ARE DOING ANYTHING WRONG>>>

Just found that supernanny and nanny 911 say similar things about kids. They usually solve most of the problems with routine, consistent discipline, and times for the parents and kids to get constructive and active together...

Just mentioning it... hope it's helpful... :)

You might need to find a different form of discipline. What has worked for you're other kids might not work for your daughter. Try something new. Try time outs or taking away a toy or privilege
