In that area to ask for things she is very mannerly . Is just her behaviour and her listening skills is what i have to work on.

My son is about your daughters age and "busy" as well. They say after a while time outs work even if not at first. But I've a hard time with them too. My son used to laugh when I gave him a time out. What I try to do is disapline depending on how he is misbehaving. For example if he throws a toy it gets taken away. If he bites or hits me I demand an apology before he can play again, which is in a way a time out. Another thing I've been doing is when he wants me to get him something like apple juice or a snack I won't give it to him until he says please. He used to just say "I want apple juice." by making him say please he is learning a respectful way to talk to me rather than demanding I get him what he needs. Good luck.

If you have a play pen then put her in there until she has calmed down. Make sure she is safe and walk away.Children do not like being ignored and will soon calm down and listen. Try not to shout now as you will always have to shout to get her attention when she is older.
