They are still on formula until they turn two. Their second birthday is coming up fast. Has anyone been thru this and how did you get them off formula.

my son is allergic to milk and i found out that some soy milk has milk in it. we tried everything in different milks and formula's and nothing work. Because he has loose stools we finally had to go to see a GI doctor his name is dr. abi hanna and he put him on little begginers soy pediatric drink. my son really likes it and it also is a 1000 calorie count drink. this drink is starting to help him out alot. if you would like to know more you can email me.

Thanks but they are allergic to the milk and soy. It makes them bleed and blister when it comes out in stools. They also break out on the face within a matter of minutes of drinking it.

My now 9 yr.old was that way. She did not get off the formula until she was 28 months. I slowly added 2% milk to the formula until she was completely off the formula. The daycare was she was attending help me to complete the process with her. Now she is drinking whole milk with not problems and not side-effect from this transition.

well my son was allergic to milk he was able to take soy tho but what we did with him was mixed the soy milk with the formula and worked up to no formula all milk and then we have to warm up his soy milk for about 30 seconds in the microwave so u might have to try that with the kind of milk they can tolerate
