Hey my daughter and son are one year old. I started seeing crystals on my daughter diapers first, her doctor thought she was probably dehydrated, but her ordered some labs to be done, he only ordered the labs because she is preemie and he wants to rule out any possibilities. I saw it for about two days now it has been about a week i have not seen them. Today was the first day i saw it on my son and his diapers was soak, so i am figuring it is from the diapers. Has any mom expierenced this before?

Yes, some diapers have crystals in them, kind like kitty litter, some have gel in side. It's nothing to worry about.

YES, it IS just from the daipers. I've only seen it long after the daiper should have already been changed lol. Then again, my baby is strange lol she sometimes soaks the daiper fast and other times not so much and still other times decides she wants to go on the toilet lol. I haven't seen it a lot, but I have seen them on my youngest a time or two.
This is why you didn't see them for a week now on your daughter because you maybe started changing her more frequently. I use Huggies Supreme, which I love and used on my firstborn, too. They are super absorbant so even though the tend to cost more they save you more in the long run because they absorb a lot while keeping the little one dry! Of course, how often you have to change them varies on how often they wet themselves because some babies wet themselves more than others. If it worries you that much, just change their daipers more often and it should stop it all together.

I haven't experienced it myself but I've heard it can happen with disposable diapers with the absorbent gel leaking. Are they wearing diapers from the same batch? Maybe try a different brand or cloth for awhile to see if it's that.
