She has been spoiled and sleeps with mommy. Now I just need to break her.

I had the same problem with my daughter and one night I just told her that she had to sleep in her bed like a big girl, I gave her a sippy cup of milk laid down with her for a little bit until she fell asleep then I left each night after that, that is what we would do. Finally after a while of doing that I would tuck her in and then say mommy has to go and do something then i will come and lay down with you, then I would leave the room and close the door behind me and she would end up falling asleep by herself. I know it is just easier to have her sleep with you but you have to be strong! : )

Thank you, I also have thought of moving her toddler bed next to my bed so I could just slide her over. But I will try anything to get her in her own bed. Thanks again

my daughter is almost 15 mo. and we have the same problem. what i am doing is using the portable crib i put her to sleep in our bed and once she is asleep i move her into the pack n play .at first the bed was next to ours and each week we move it farther away from us so soon she will be out of our room and into hers. the transition seems to be working! hope this helps you good luck!!
