My daughter has been dealing with severe chronic constipation since she was 2 months old. She is now 19 months old and we're just finding out it could possibly be Cows Milk Protein Allergy/Intolerance. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for diets free of cows milk protein. Or how you've dealt with the changes. We are just trying this for 6-8 weeks to see if it could be this issue, it may not but any information you may have would be greatly appreciated!

Neutririonist will help you out tottaly if they are a good one they will give you a list of what words mean milk in the ingredient labels of everything!!! My daughter had a milk protein allergy and that helped me out tramendously how ever you spell that word!!! Good luck!

Hi,
We just saw a GI specialist yesterday thankfully, that's how we found that this could be a possible reason to her agony. I'm waiting to hear from 2 dietitians for information regarding what to take out of her diet and what she can have. Also how to supplement the calcium and Vit D loss.
Thanks!

I suggest you take her to a GI specialist...They will be able to help you with different things you could do..I found out my son was allergic to milk and soy at 8 weeks. He is 15 months now and out grew the milk and soy allergy. So I highly suggest contacting a GI specialist. Hope everything works out =)
