I guess it depends upon how you feel about it. Cosleeping is actually quite common. My 3 1/2 year old slept in her own bed in her room until about 2 months ago and then she started insisting on sleeping with me. Daddy has been traveling a lot in the last year for his job and I think this is starting to catch up with her and she misses him when he's gone. If I'm up when she's fallen asleep, I will take her back to her own room otherwise I figure she'll outgrow it someday when she no longer wants to be my little girl.

I watched an episode of Super Nanny a while back and a couple was having the same problem with their 2 children. They were told that every time the kids got out of their room, they needed to get up and put them back in their own room and in their own bed. I believe it took the couple an entire week before their children started sleeping in their own beds and in their own rooms. It was not easy and they were definitely exhausted but it worked. With another couple the nanny recommended the mom sleep on the floor next to the kids beds in their own room. As soon as they fell asleep leave the room. If the kids got up just repeat the routine.
