For those of you interested, I just created a new community on Circle of Moms called 3 Day Potty Training by Lora Jensen for those of us that have used/are using/plan on using this method for potty training. I was reading that there were some ladies wishing there was a forum for asking questions, etc. and I thought it would be helpful to create a community just for this purpose. Hope you will all join!

Yes, I would go ahead and start potty training. He will learn the sensation of having to go pee with training. I just put them in cloth undies and have them tell me when they have to go. They usually have lots of accidents but they will learn quickly this way. I just recently trained my 2yo and she started telling me within a week when she had to go.

My first sign was this : can he pull his pants self down (up is not so important) and can he tell you he needs to pee and hold it till you get to the toilet. Boys are easy - they just squeze Mr Weeny till they get to the toilet. Try it when its warm outside - let him run without nappies or anything. Take him every half hour and let him pee. He must realise the feeling when to pee - his bladder must tell him:the burning sensation you feel when you need to go. Ask your daycare to assist you with the nappies off and peeing every half hr...it should give him the chance to explore IF he can do it.

BUT be careful for taking it to fast - bite your lip if you want to explode or get angry if he doesn't 'click' the whole idee. Good Luck
