Ayla will be three this year in december. I try to get her to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and she just doesn't want too. All her old favorite foods she won't touch...she seems to only be interested in the "junk foods". What should I do?

Hi Ashley! Try making smoothies (have Alya help you dump everything in-yogurt, strawberries, banana, and sneak in fresh zucchini (you'll never taste it) etc. Let her put some special sprinkles on it and find the coolest-ever straw. Maybe she can sip it on the road or while you read to her (more fun-takes the focus off "eating" and being watched! Other trick-try hiding frozen peas, corn, etc in their yogurt!

My son is nearly 3 and he too has gone through period of time that I felt he wasn't eating enough. It has been the main point of disagreement here!!! When I became concerned I asked his pediatrician and she told me not to push it as long as he was getting enough healthy fluids : milk, juice and taking children's vitamins. He has been eating a little better lately but I offer it 2 or 3 times and if he won't eat it, I don't push him to. He now will let me know when he is actually hungry. Hope I could help :)

first thing...DO NOT GIVE IN TO HER!! put junk food where she cant see or get to it, and let her know that the goodies are for big girls who eat all thier food, try to put yourself @ her leavel, what helped me was doing that, and not giving in to her, my duaghter is 12 and i still have that problem once in awhile...just remember giving in is the worse thing you can do!

I had the sam eproblem with my daughter. Then someone helped me and now things are better.

If she dosent eat, let her be. I know its hard, but do it. My daughter didn't eat a morsel for 24 hours before it worked. Every 2 hours, put food in front of her. Keep it there for 20 minutes and ten pick it up. Dont say anything. Neither good nor bad. Just do it as a ritual. She wll start asking for food.

Good luck!
