Jealousy Issue!

I have a 2 1/2 year old stepdaughter and we get her every weekend and we also have a 3 month old little girl. She is still a bit jealous at times. Any ideas of what I can do to help her with that? Thanks!

My daughter is 2 and i have a son that is turning one and we went through the same problem. I got my daughter a baby doll to use and interact with while i'm taking care of my son so that she can pretend to be "just like mommy". this seems to distract her from her jealousy

Try to get them more involved with helping out and taking care of the baby.Like making a bottle, changing diapers, picking out clothes and even hold or feeding her. I have a 3 year old and a 6 month old and I got lucky and don't have that problem but that what I was always told to do just in case it did happen. o and try not to always put the baby first. I catch myself telling my oldest to just wait a minute until I got done feeding my youngest or I would say when I done doing this I will help you. If you say things like that to them alot it makes it sound like your always pushing them away.

My son is jealous too. He is an only child and everytime I would hold another baby he tries to jump in my lap. He is even jealous with the new puppy we got. I don't know what to do about it though. Usually I just try and tell him that its okay, that mommy is just holding the baby and try to get him to interact with the baby.
