How can I keep my toddlers duvet on her at night? My daughter is 18 months and is now to tall for her growbags. I have bought her some cot bed duvets but she wriggles so much she pushes the covers off. She is normally a good sleeper but is now waking up cold through out the night. Any suggestions as we are both knackered!

we had the same problem with my daughter, lucky for us my husband is a night owl so it wasnt a big deal to keep checking her and covering her up....it wasnt long after 18 months when she learned to cover herself up....maybe during the day when she is cuddling with you or sitting quietly and playing you could show her how to cover up and get warm....we used to do that with our daughter especially during the colder months or early in the morning when there was still a chill in her room. or you could try covering her doll up with a baby blanket when she is watching and explain to her "your baby was cold so we covered her with a blanket". i think once she learns that covering up with a blanket equates to being warm she will learn to cover herself up in no time! hope this helps!

footed pjs may help. also try to close the vent off in her room at night atleast so it may not get so cold in her room. you could also try getting a sleeping bag for her so its harder to kick off

I have tried the warmer clothing but it is not the answer for all year around. I would rather she got used to pullig the quilt up herself. As for the electric fire I think not. She is almost able to get out of the cot already so this would be very dangerous. But thank you both for your suggestions!

Just dress her in a warm sleeper. I usually cuddle my daughter tight in her duvet and she is good most of the nights. But I also make sure she has something warm underneath.
