It seems like I never have enough of juice, snacks and wipes with me. Its kind of embarrassing having to ask another mom. I wonder if anyone else has had to ask another mom for something they forgot to pack or just ran out of.

You know it does I think it's called "mommie brain" ever since I was pregnant I had this and it never left me! I also think it's hormones or possibly stress and perimenapause. Anyway I've turned around countless times in the car because I need to go back and get something. I'm always in a hurray with my twins it seems. Good luck and have a great day!!

Stock your car up with juice boxes, non-perishable snacks, wipes and diapers. It'll save you in the end. Keep one pack of wipes, 4-5 diapers, a few juice boxes and some snacks. At least they'll be there if you need them.

All the time! Every mom does it... unless they have OCD... and, even then, they sometimes forget. I do!

I was usually really good at remembering everything i needed, but only cuz I did a LOT of advance planning. On days when I knew we were NOT going somewhere, I would pack the diaper bag for the next trip (even if i didn't know when or where we might be going). In essence I ALWAYS have/had a ready to go diaper bag. I knew all i needed was to grab a cuppy/bottle and formula and i was ready to go. I keep diapers in the bag *i try not to use these while at home, then i know the bag is full* , I also keep nonperishable snacks (crackers, little cookies, whatever), at least 1 change of clothes (often more), and a few toys for places that are not entertaining for babies. I wouldn't recommend that you try to pack the bag when you are all in a fluster to try to go somewhere, that is a surefire way to forget stuff. Also, you might tuck a list in one of the small pockets of the bag of all the things you know you will need for any trip then just refer to the list right before you leave and make sure that at least those things are in the bag. We have all forgotten something at one time or another. I once forgot to bring formula for my little one and had to send daddy out to get some. What helped me the most though was to pack the diaper bag when I didn't really need it, then through the course of the days, if i thought of something that might need to be in it, I could just add it while I was thinking of it.

i used to forget something everytime I went to town or to a friends, and yes it is hard to ask, what I Started doing was buying a Mini Diaper bag, and packing it with snacks that would keep, like the Gerber pre-packaged snacks, a cup, extra wipes diapers, etc, and leaving it in the car!! that way when I would forget to repack or not pack enough in my diaper bag i would always have spares in the car!!

I think every mother has been in this situation at least once and It doesn't get any better when they get older its just changed from wipes and nappies to packed lunches and swimming kits.lol. I'm always forgeting stuff, I've even gone to the shop 3 times in 1 day for nappys and come away with everything but them. In the end i sent my husband.lol. Try preparing a bag the night before when you've got peace and quiet to think about what you'll need. And stash things like nappys, wipes etc in the car, buggy grandparents houses and anywhere else you visit often. My mother kept a drawer in her house with all essentals when mine were little that way you don't need to worry about remembering to many things all the time.Good luck

I always try and overpack when I can, but I still end up forgetting something! I have had to ask for a few things (mainly wipes, lol) and I am always a bit embarrassed about it, but the other moms have always been super nice about it, I think we've all been in that situation (*^^*) I know I'm always happy to help out a fellow mom in need!

In the beginning I used to forget things all the time and I did ask a random mother in the shopping center for some wipes once! Now I pretty much only need to make sure I have a spare nappy and a dummy with me, unless we're out all day. :)
