Love, hate relationship

Ok, I am at my wits end with my 15 month old. For about the last 6 months, she has not wanted to come to me, to be held by me and when she is upset the only person that can make her feel better is my husband. I am the primary care giver and I am home with her the majority of the time. If I want to hold her when she upset she arches her back and reaches for my husband or my babysitter whoever is there, NEVER me. I really feel like she hates me!!! What can I do? Anyone else experiencing this? It really is making sad. :( I have asked for help through other communities and they say, I should spend more time with her but that is all I do during the day especially since I am not working right now. Any help would be appreciated!!

My daughter did the same thing for a short time. I know they go through a phase where they prefer the other parent. Do you have playdates with other moms and kids? Having other interaction with both kids and adults helped me and my daughter. I work with Mary Kay so I was always gone one night a week. That helped my kids be excited to see me. Maybe when she is upset have her sit next to you to talk it out. Hope this helps. Hang in there.
