If you are asking about food ideas... I have a variety of snacks I let them choose from. For example; chewy granola bar, fruit snack, cup of fruit, cheese crackers, etc. I have my children ages 5 and 4 help me.

1. We pick a main item for the filler like a sandwich or leftovers. If it is a sandwich, I have them help make it.

2.Then I have them pick from the "fresh department"; a fresh fruit (apple, orange, peach, strawberries, etc) or a veggie (carrots, celery, sweet peas, pickle, etc). or both if they will eat it.

3. Then the snack department (granola bar, chips, fruit snacks, fruit cup, crackers, cheese stick, etc.)

4. Then they can pick a yummy snack from the dessert dept. (a cookie, small rice crispy treat, 3 large marsh-mellows, a jello pack, etc.)

5. Then they pick a drink (bottle water, smart water, juice box, milk box, etc.)

We do this the night before and by involving my children in the process, I find that they really want to eat what they made. It gives them a sense of pride and control. It has been very helpful in getting them to not be bored with lunch and to also finish the food they take.

Hope this helps!
