When the rash starts for measles does it start with a few spots or will most of the body be covered from the start. I notice 3 sports on my daughter and read up on measles, she does not have any of the other symptoms except for these three sports, but it does not say if the start of the rash will be a lot or not. She had all her measle injection up to date.

measles starts with a high temperature and signs of a cold then moves on to white spots inside cheek then a dark patchy rash behind ears and along hair line. if she has had all her injections there is very little chance of getting measles it's much more likely to either be a heat rash or a rash that comes with a virus - my children get spotty rashes all the time sometimes even when teething - chicken pox does start with just one or two spots but they quickly develope more so if more appear red with white centres it could be that.
