My son was sick last week. We took him to the hospital on base. They did CT scan, X-rays, Lumbar puncture, the whole nine yards. Everthing came back fine. But he is still having these horrible headaches. He starts by holding his head and then he starts crying and then he throws up. The doctors didn't seem to be to concerned. Should i be? We asked for referrals to Childrens and we got nowhere.

Hi Jenell, My migranes started when I was 3years old (I was always throwing up because of them) and there where a couple things my mom did for me, she was very carefull what cleaners she used, she made sure I was hydrated and she made sure I took vitamins. Now as an adult, I completely took all chemicals out of my home and I still take vitamins. I shop with a great store that offers all natural based products from toothepaste to makeup to cleaners, dental line, vitamin line, etc. It really has made a difference in my life. If you are interested let me know!

I hope your son feels better, I totally understand how fustrating it can be!

It's not as severe as it was but i definetly want to get hm looked at by a neurlogist and have his vision checked. Still waiting on referrals from base hosp.

yes, if you are worried go with your gut instinct,my son was sick about a year ago and we kept being sent home, he was hospitilized and still sent home, i knew things were not right and sure enough he had meningitis, so if your worried i say keep asking questions, it doesnt hurt to ask questions if you are concerned,it might be nothing or it may be something, its up to us to protect our babies.
