Haha! Sorry, I can't aswer this question as I have been asking it for almost a year now! It seems like she just goes in waves now... 5-6 weeks are very trying and then she will have aobut 5-6 weeks of SO much improvement. I keep getting told that it just continues.... 'till they move out! LOL

I can only say, it must be hard finally realizing you can make you own decisions, and then no one will let you (comming from the 2-year old of course)!

Take deep breaths! Good Luck! =)

I have been told by a mom of 4 that the terrible twos lasts from like 18 months, (as they're are beginning to become more independent to about 3-3 1/2 sometimes. It depends on your child. We're just beginning the terrible twos, and I will have 2 there before I blink. Yuk! Good luck!

I have 5 kids... I promise you all it will get better! LOL Sometime after age 4 is right but really it differs with each child. Hang in there!

we are three...and we are still somewhat terrible. However, discipline has made improvements.

A lot of people have told me that the 3s are worse than the 2s. I think, "Great, how could it get worse?" If I hear the word "mine" or "no" one more time I'll scream! Then they tell me that it gets better after they turn 4. So, I pray every day that my patience will last that long. In the meantime I am making sure that I am teaching my son right from wrong and using consequences to teach him what behavior is unacceptable. Other times you just have to ignore it. Good luck!

My son is 19 month and has hit this terrible 2 stage a little early. I pray all day every day that it will get better soon! It is so stressful but hang in there.

Actually I just read an article in Parents not too long ago about the terrible two's. It actually can continue till around age 4 but it will come in spurts like Rainy said. They are just starting to experience new emotions but can't convey what they are yet. It'll get better :o)
