I STOPPED AT 13 MONTHS. IT WAS SOOO HARD!! TRY TO GIVE MILK TO HER IN A REGULAR CUP DURING THE DAY AT LEAST ONCE AND STILL NURSE BEFORE BED. GRADUALLY INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF TIMES YOU GIVE HER THE CUP. YOU COULD TRY PLAYTEX BOTTLES TOO. IT MIGHT TAKE UP TO SIX MONTHS TO WEAN HER BUT THIS DOES WORK EVENTUALLY.

my daughter is nearly 16months and i breastfeed her still but top her up with cows milk and a blended very ripe banana in a sippy cup {the banana makes it taste a lot nicer & its good for them}.

have you tried a sippy cup with a straw? it was the only type my son would use for ages....he was around 2.5 years when he finally used a "normal" sippy cup, but by then he was using normal cups as well... if you want to increase your milk supply you can try taking a supplement of fenugreek or alpha, or blessed thistle.

i breastfeed until my daughter was about 13 months and then it started hurting because she had teeth. The way I got her to stop was to slowly start giving her milk and baby food during the day and then I would breastfeed her when it came time for bed and withing a 3 weeks she started to get used to eating and drinking from other sources. To this day ( and she is 3 now) she will still try to touch my breast, but she knows she can't have milk from them.
