My 1 year old simply won't eat... help?

My daughter is 13 months old, she has been on soids since she was 5 months old. Up until a few weeks ago, she was a great eater, 3 meals a day, occasional snack, and happy to try new foods. She has now started getting fussy and rejecting her food, unless we were eating the same thing. But for the last week meal time is becoming a simple shake of the head, tight lips and even a tantrum if we try feed her. I have no idea what to do, I have tried offering alternative meals, but she simply won't eat (unless its custard or yoghurt!). Started as just dinner, now its all 3 meals.

Has anyone experienced such a sudden change of appetite, and if so is there something I should be worried about. I wonder if its a sign of teeth or if she is sick, or if she is just becoming a fussy eater. AND - what do I do in the interim.. I cant keep just giving her custard or yoghurt to get her through!!!

i have the same problem with my daughter.. she wont eat but drinks milk alot.. I discovered one thing, she'll eat if she'll do it herself.. It seems that she likes the idea of holding a spoon, scooping a food, and putting it in her mouth.. little by little, though it takes time, we'll just noticed that its all gone.. =)

My son is 1 in a few days. He goes off his food when he is becoming unwell or teething. I have to feed him 4 month baby food and even that can be a struggle. He is still bf and that is all he wanted to take which is really hard for me. It lasted for 3 weeks and then he ate as normal again. He did lose weight but has now regained it.

I wouldn't worry too much just see how she goes for a couple of weeks and then if you're worried see your health visitor.
