My 18 month old son is sick with the stomach flu and can not keep anything down, including water. Any suggestions on how to help sooth his tummy?

Hm, thats tough, did you try some chamamile, or tummy mint tea? If he isnt keeping anything down he may throw it up as well. Poor baby. Did you call his pediatrician?

decaffinated green tea with brown sugar and a pinch of ginger. I swear by it. It works for Mommies too :)

I'm in the same boat as you...I've been giving my son powerade which is more sugar then I normally allow but with him not eating the extra sugra isn't to bad cuz it will raise his blood sugra it also has elctro-lights just like pedia-lite but cheaper and you don't have to worry about throwing it out in 12hrs...also talk to your doctor or pharasist but you can try a supository..hope this helps

My son was sick the other day throwing up.
Just make sure he stays well hydrated, keep giving him little bits of water or Pedialtye etc.
As for soothing his tummy, if he can eat a few soda crackers that would probably soak up any excess stomach acids and help calm it a bit.
You pretty much have to ride it out though. :(
