i used time out which my son HATES but this didnt fully wor. there was a boy in my sons class who was biting him & my son started biting family members. once he did this... it might sound bad but... i pintched & bit mine back. not hard, just enough to make him think about it & that it did hurt & if he did it again i would gradually increase the pressure. he realized that it hurt to have it done to him so it must hurt for other people to have it done to them.

my mom has a day care so i see this ALOT. what has worked for us is to bite them back. not really bite them because you don't really know how hard you are actually biting but take his arm and kinda push it into your teeth. just enough to scare him mostly. it sounds really mean but it's worked well in the past. hope this works for you.

one of my friends said her son was biting and she was told to bite him on the butt cheek. she did and he went to bite again and she asked him if he wanted his butt bitten again and he never bit again.
