my 19month old daughter is the pickiest eater. how can i get her to eat meat and veggies?

Hi- Puree is the answer. Chuck vegies/ meat in a blender and puree it, then add it to something she does like. Don't worry too much about unusual mixes. Use sweeter vegies the most- pumpkin, sweet potato, corn, carrot. Otherwise, find alternatives for those foods that still provide the missing nutrients. For instance, vegies aren't too much of a worry as long as she is getting plenty of fruit (fruit and vegies belong to the same food group...). When they are young, it is thought that tastebuds are very different to ours....flavours can be different. So as she gets older, she will probably eat things she is not eating now.....just like we did as we aged. Good luck...
