My son runs high temps for a while. I usually let him play in a luke warm bubble bath for at least a 1/2hr and that does the trick every time. This is in addition to the Tylenol/Motrin I give him. The bath raises his spirits cause he loves to play with the bubbles and in turn helps lower his internal temp. Another trick is to place cold wash clothes under their arm pits. Keep them naked to cool down but don't let them get cold. If your child shivers do NOT wrap them in a blanket. When someone has a fever and they start to shiver it is the body's natural way to help lower their body temperature.

Thanks
Got it to break on 55th hour. I used triaminic and that broke it right away. Maybe he got used to tylenol and motrin?? Or maybe just had to ride the course. I will look into medised for next time. xo

yes I called his doctor and they said not to come in unless it gets over 103? he is at 100 now, so at least he is getting better-- just gave him more tylenol, but now it is over 50 hrs! how stressful:(

I guess this is the obvious first question, but have you called her doctor?
