I started Potty training my daughter at 12 months. She did it for about 2 months very well. Then for about 4 months nothing.. We asked the dr. and He said to treat her when she goes. we tried m&m and other goodies. Helped a little but the thing that really got her going was I made a potty chart, got some stickers and everytime she went She would get a sticker and a Treat. Once she realized that she was being treated for doing good she Just started doing it alone.. We also had alot of problems in the beginning with her toys being more important. We used the mommy and daddy get a sticker and u dont because we went and u didnt.. She didnt like that.. She still after about 5 months doing great with the potty is more into her toys and causes accidents at times but Patience is a big factor in Potty training.. Good Luck and I hope this info is Helpful..

Well my sons 19months old, I started potty training him at 12 months. What we do is, while hes on the potty we read a book, or go over his cards of first words, abc's or numbers. I also found a new interesting way to get him into it, I have a phone that plays videos, so I downloaded this video of elmo learning to use the potty, and its elmos dad showing him his potty and singing about using the potty. Its really GREAT, my son really loves it, and he is doing wonderful with going to the potty. I hope I was of some help
