cold turkey...is it fun? NOOOO..but it has to be done..when your kid has to take the pacifier out to talk full sentences..it's time lol

I agree with Louise, use it only for naps and bed time. Its what we did with our 2 year old. I have it on top of a tall dresser that he can not reach and come time for nap or bed I pick him up and he is able to reach it. When he gets up he has to put it back.

I would remove the dummy during the day and let her have it for naps only. In time she will just leave it but if you make it an issue then she will stamp her feet and want it more. My son had one in his bed until he was 4 and then he just left it. He is 17 now and has perfectly straight teeth so don't worry.

As for the bottles does she drink at all from a cup. Try and move her straight to a plastic cup to be like mummy. Encourage her to sip from a cup and in time she will want to be like mummy.
