Im a huge believer that the child knows when the best time is to be toilet trained, there is no right or wrong age, our daughter is 4years and 3mths old and only the past few weeks has been trying out knickers during the night instead of nappies, my approach would be to go back to nappies, perhaps take her shopping for speacial "big girls" knickers and make a big deal out of it, tilet trainning is huge step that the child needs to be ready to take, ots of encouragment alng the way, perhaps when she needs to poo even if shes in a napp take her to the toilet(or potty if thats what you use) and encourage her to do it by the toilet when shes finished change her etc in there and reinforce this is where we do poos, try not to over think the situation, she will pick up on it and that wont help, trust me when shes ready to use the toilet/potty she will. your doing a great job, good luck x

Is it the potty? Both my boys loved going in the 'big' toilet rather than the potty. We used to make a big deal out of waving goodbye to the poo's and wees and flush. Might help??

Try a reward chart, everytime she poops on the potty she gets a sticker till she reaches five(whatever number works best for the both of you). Then rewards can be going for ice cream or seeing a movie ect. Use her fav stickers and she can even help make a reward chart. Keep positive, it will happen =)
