maybe she needs to go to bed earlier. dont give her a choice right now, just tell her that bed time is at 7:30 and thats it. she will fight you but stick with it calmly for a week and she should do better. sometimes they get so tired that they cant sleep, they get to wound up. good luck

Its just a phase, my daughter does the same thing sometimes wether she gets a nap or not. If she takes late naps, you could limit how long she sleeps or try to get her to nap earlier in the day.

do you have a bed time routine? because it sounds like she has alot of freedom in making this decision. it will be harder to set boundaries now that shes older but i bet if you make a routine and stick to it she will eventually comply. of course im not really sure whats going on here, your post was a little vauge.

Got the same problem with my daughter for over a year until she started going to school. If your daughter doesnt go to school yet, still wake her up early (8am). Allow her naps during the early afternoon hours only. Around 8p start letting her know her bedtime is coming. No later than 9p put her in bed, read a story together and nite nite! Ask your husband to help you. You will get amazing results after few days! Good luck.

she use to be on a routine and go to bed between 8 and 9. and for some reason at night she gives a problem. even if i turn all the lights out she still doesnt wanna listen.
