My almost ten month old still wakes up in th night. I think its because she uses a pacifier. She is my only one (out of 4) that ever had one so Im not a pacifier expert. Im looking for any advice. Thank you

eboni, best advise is just take it. throw it out. I took both my girls when they didn't know. I just told them that they were big girls and it was gone. my oldest was fine, my middle daughter she cried for the first two nights but after that she is fine.

I would say just don't have it around and they won't want it. My daughter can go without it for most of the morning, but I'm not trying to take them away until after the baby is born in March

we kept losing my sons pacifiers when he was little. eventually, we lost all of them. when we found them, he didnt need them. i guess we just kept him busy, playing and seeing family often, and he just forgot about it.

that reminds me that we have our pacifier clipped to our little girls pajamas so she won't lose it.

buy a few of the pacifiers that she likes, throw them through out the crib, she's most likely waking up because she can't find it. if you put more then one in there , she may wake up but be able to find one and hopeful go right back to sleep. we did this with my middle daughter it worked like a charm.

hope this helps.

Heck, my 21 month old still wakes up at night. She had a good run of about 4-5 months where she wasn't waking up, but then she started again at the beginning of November. She has always had a pacifier. Could it be that your little one is hungry? I didn't wean my girl from the bottle until she was a year. Do you have a bedtime time routine, like a bath?
